#15S - All Ages Family Class Spring Play "Swan River"

ALL AGES FAMILY CLASS SPRING PLAY
"Swan River"
Written by Kate Smith
Presented in partnership with Skeleton Key Theatre
Directed by Caity Smyck
Co-directed by Megan Piercey Monafu
Swan River is an outdoor ambulatory story that invites audiences to piece together clues and help brother and sister duo Pen and Cob unravel the mystery of their town, Swan River. Stepping into the world of the play, audiences will journey through the landscape experiencing theatre, music, visual imagery, and interactive installations. A story about identity, adaptability, and family, Swan River celebrates the extraordinary power that we all have to love one another unconditionally.
Swan River was created to be presented outdoors near a body of water to highlight the tension that exists between the familiar and the unfamiliar; what humans impose on the environment, and the natural world that they often feel disconnected from.
